Hisao Hayakawa, Song-Ho Chong, Michio Otsuki

TL;DR
This paper develops a nonequilibrium liquid theory for sheared granular liquids using the SLLOD Liouville equation, deriving a generalized Green-Kubo formula and showing independence from initial conditions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel theoretical framework for sheared granular liquids based on nonequilibrium statistical mechanics.
Findings
Derived a generalized Green-Kubo formula for sheared granular liquids.
Showed the formulation's independence from initial conditions.
Established a foundation for future theoretical and computational studies.
Abstract
A noneqilibrium liquid theory for uniformly sheared granular liquids is developed starting from the SLLOD Liouville equation. We derive a generalized Green-Kubo formula and also demonstrate that the formulation is essentially independent of the choice of initial condition.
