How can CP violation in the neutrino sector be large in a $2\leftrightarrow 3$ symmetric model?
Yoshio Koide, Hiroyuki Nishiura

TL;DR
This paper explores how large CP violation can occur in a neutrino model with 2-3 symmetry broken by a phase, analyzing deviations from tribimaximal mixing under maximal CP violation.
Contribution
It introduces a neutrino mass matrix model where 2-3 symmetry is broken by a phase, examining its impact on CP violation and lepton mixing.
Findings
Large CP violation is possible in the model.
Deviations from tribimaximal mixing are analyzed.
The model predicts specific mixing patterns under maximal CP violation.
Abstract
Based on a neutrino mass matrix model in which a 2-3 symmetry is only broken by a phase parameter, it is investigated how the lepton mixing matrix can deviate from the so-called tribimaximal mixing under a condition that CP is maximally violated.
