M. Sahin (Ankara Univ.), O. Cakir (Ankara Univ.)

TL;DR
This paper investigates the potential to detect scalar diquarks at a gamma-proton collider based on the LHeC, focusing on their production, background suppression, and charge measurement capabilities.
Contribution
It introduces a study of scalar diquark production at the LHeC gamma-proton collider, including background analysis and charge measurement methods, which is a novel exploration in this context.
Findings
Scalar diquarks can be produced at the LHeC gamma-proton collider.
Kinematical cuts effectively suppress background for three-jet final states.
Charge measurement of scalar diquarks is feasible at the collider.
Abstract
The diquark exotics which couple to a pair of quarks are predicted by the Compositeness and Superstring inspired E_{6} model. We study the single production of scalar diquarks at LHeC based gamma p collider options. The background for three jet final states are examined through appropriate kinematical cuts. We discuss the possibility of measurements for the charges of scalar diquarks (qq and qq').
