TL;DR
This paper evaluates the effect of one-loop matching on the calculation of the kaon bag parameter $B_K$ using improved staggered fermions, providing estimates of truncation errors from missing higher-order corrections.
Contribution
It introduces a one-loop matching approach for $B_K$ calculation with HYP-smeared staggered fermions and estimates associated truncation errors.
Findings
One-loop matching impacts $B_K$ calculations.
Estimated size of two-loop truncation errors.
Provides guidance for future precision improvements.
Abstract
We discuss the impact of using one-loop matching on the calculation of using HYP-smeared improved staggered fermions. We give estimates of size of the truncation errors from the missing two-loop corrections.
