TL;DR
This paper develops a new model incorporating electromagnetic and gravitational form factors derived from t-dependent GPDs, successfully describing existing data and predicting elastic scattering behaviors at LHC energies.
Contribution
It introduces a novel model combining soft and hard pomerons with form factors from t-dependent GPDs, fitting experimental data with only four free parameters.
Findings
Qualitative agreement with experimental data up to 52.8 GeV
Model provides predictions for LHC energies
Achieves description including Coulomb range and large momentum transfers
Abstract
Taking into account the electromagnetic and gravitational form factors, calculated from a new set of -dependent GPDs, a new model including the soft and hard pomerons is build. In the framework of this model the ualitative description of all existing experimental data at GeV, including the Coulomb range and large momentum transfers, is obtained with only 4 free parameters. Predictions for LHC energies are made.
