Eiji Konishi, Jnanadeva Maharana

TL;DR
This paper explores compactification of type IIB string theory with fluxes, presenting an S-duality invariant effective action and analyzing cosmological solutions within the Pre-Big Bang framework.
Contribution
It introduces a manifestly S-duality invariant effective action for IIB flux compactifications and studies related cosmological solutions.
Findings
Effective action expressed in S-duality invariant form
Cosmological solutions analyzed in Pre-Big Bang scenario
Insights into flux compactifications in string cosmology
Abstract
Compactification of type IIB theory on torus, in the presence of fluxes, is considered. The reduced effective action is expressed in manifestly S-duality invariant form. Cosmological solutions of the model are discussed in several cases in the Pre-Big Bang scenario.
