Doubling of background solution in 5D stabilized brane world model
Mikhail N. Smolyakov

TL;DR
This paper explores a 5D stabilized brane world model that admits two distinct stationary background solutions with different brane metrics, emphasizing the need for fine-tuning to distinguish these solutions.
Contribution
It demonstrates the existence of two stationary solutions in a 5D brane model and highlights the fine-tuning required to differentiate them.
Findings
Two stationary background solutions with flat and dS4 metrics.
Fine-tuning of brane scalar potentials is necessary to separate solutions.
Both solutions share the same fundamental parameters.
Abstract
We discuss a model providing two different stationary background solutions with flat and metric on the branes under the same values of the fundamental parameters. It is shown that only an additional fine-tuning of the brane scalar field potentials can provide a separation between two background solutions.
