Instanton effects on Wilson-loop correlators: a new comparison with numerical results from the lattice
M.Giordano, E.Meggiolaro

TL;DR
This paper investigates how instanton effects influence Wilson-loop correlators relevant to high-energy scattering, comparing theoretical Instanton Liquid Model predictions with existing lattice data, and deriving an instanton-induced dipole-dipole potential.
Contribution
It provides a novel comparison between instanton-based theoretical calculations and lattice data for Wilson-loop correlators and introduces an instanton-induced dipole-dipole potential.
Findings
Good agreement between instanton model and lattice data for correlators at various angles.
Derived dipole-dipole potential from instanton effects matches preliminary lattice results.
Enhanced understanding of non-perturbative effects in high-energy QCD scattering.
Abstract
Instanton effects on the Euclidean correlation function of two Wilson loops at an angle , relevant to soft high-energy dipole-dipole scattering, are calculated in the Instanton Liquid Model and compared with the existing lattice data. Moreover, the instanton-induced dipole-dipole potential is obtained from the same correlation function at , and compared with preliminary lattice data.
