TL;DR
This paper presents methods for reconstructing quantum states using phase space measurements generated by photon number states, involving matrix inversion techniques to derive formulas based on single observables.
Contribution
It introduces new reconstruction formulas for quantum states from phase space measurements using photon number states, simplifying the process to single observable data.
Findings
Reconstruction formulas derived from inverting infinite matrices.
Methods applicable to phase space observables generated by photon number states.
The approach enables state reconstruction using only a single phase space observable.
Abstract
We consider state reconstruction from the measurement statistics of phase space observables generated by photon number states. The results are obtained by inverting certain infinite matrices. In particular, we obtain reconstruction formulas, each of which involves only a single phase space observable.
