Measurement of the form factors of the decay B^+\to\bar D^{*0}\ell^+\nu_\ell and determination of the CKM matrix element |V_{cb}|
The Belle Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper measures the form factors and CKM matrix element |V_{cb}| in B+ to D*0 l+ nu decay using Belle data, providing precise parameters and validating HQET predictions.
Contribution
It provides the first comprehensive measurement of form factors and |V_{cb}| in B+ to D*0 l+ nu decay with high precision, using a large Belle dataset.
Findings
Measured form factor parameters: ρ², R₁(1), R₂(1).
Determined |V_{cb}| with improved accuracy.
Confirmed agreement with HQET form factor models.
Abstract
We present a measurement of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element times the form factor normalization using the decay . This measurement is performed together with a determination of the form factor parameters , and which fully characterize this decay in the framework of Heavy Quark Effective Theory. This analysis is based on a data sample equivalent to 140 fb of Belle data collected near the resonance. The preliminary results, based on about 27,000 reconstructed decays, are , , and . We find the branching fraction to be . For all numbers…
