Measurement of $D^+ \to K_S^0 K^+$ and $D^+_s \to K_S^0 \pi^+$ branching ratios
E. Won, B. R. Ko (for the Belle Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper presents precise measurements of specific branching ratios for D meson decays involving K_S^0 and charged kaons or pions, improving the accuracy of previous results using a large data sample from the Belle detector.
Contribution
It provides the most precise measurements to date of these branching ratios, refining our understanding of charm meson decay processes.
Findings
Measured branching ratio D^+ to K_S^0 K^+ relative to D^+ to K_S^0 π^+ as 0.1899±0.0011±0.0022.
Measured branching ratio D_s^+ to K_S^0 π^+ relative to D_s^+ to K_S^0 K^+ as 0.0803±0.0024±0.0019.
Utilized 605 fb^{-1} of data from the Belle detector at KEKB.
Abstract
We report an improved measurement of and branching ratios using 605 fb of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider. The measured branching ratios with respect to the Cabibbo-favored modes are = 0.18990.0022 and = 0.08030.0019 where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic.
