Generating Functional for Gauge Invariant Actions: Examples of Nonrelativistic Gauge Theories
Oleg Andreev

TL;DR
This paper introduces a generating functional for nonrelativistic gauge invariant actions, highlighting theories without magnetic terms and demonstrating an upper electric field bound similar to Born-Infeld theory.
Contribution
It presents a novel generating functional framework for nonrelativistic gauge theories, especially those lacking magnetic terms, with implications for electric field limitations.
Findings
Upper bound on electric field strength in these theories
Examples of nonrelativistic gauge invariant actions without magnetic terms
Connection to Born-Infeld theory
Abstract
We propose a generating functional for nonrelativistic gauge invariant actions. In particular, we consider actions without the usual magnetic term. Like in the Born-Infeld theory, there is an upper bound to the electric field strength in these gauge theories.
