Mathematical Structure of Discrete Space-time
An-Wei Zhang

TL;DR
This paper explores the mathematical framework of discretized space-time, suggesting that such discretization could lead to a new type of mechanical system distinct from traditional quantum mechanics.
Contribution
It introduces a novel mathematical perspective on discrete space-time and proposes a new mechanical system emerging from this discretization, differing from standard quantum mechanics.
Findings
Discretization of space-time may lead to alternative mechanical systems.
The new systems differ fundamentally from conventional quantum mechanics.
Abstract
In this letter we briefly investigate the mathematical structure of space-time in the framework of discretization. It is shown that the discreteness of space-time may result in a new mechanical system which differ from the usual quantum mechanics (QM).
