Koji Hashimoto, Norihiro Iizuka, Takaaki Ishii, Daisuke Kadoh

TL;DR
This paper extends the Sakai-Sugimoto holographic QCD model to include strange quark mass effects, calculating baryon spectrum shifts and comparing them with experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces a method to incorporate strange quark mass dependence into the holographic QCD baryon spectra within the Sakai-Sugimoto model.
Findings
Mass shifts qualitatively agree with experimental data
First-order perturbation captures leading quark mass effects
Provides a framework for studying flavor symmetry breaking in holographic QCD
Abstract
We introduce the strange quark mass to the Sakai-Sugimoto model of holographic QCD. We compute mass shifts in the spectra of three-flavor baryons at the leading order in perturbation in quark masses. Comparison with experimental data shows an agreement only qualitatively.
