Gilberto Colangelo, Stefan Lanz, and Emilie Passemar

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel dispersive approach to analyze the eta decay into three pions, enabling a precise determination of the quark mass ratio Q, with preliminary results indicating Q = 22.3 +/- 0.4.
Contribution
It presents a new dispersive analysis method for eta --> 3 pi decay, improving the extraction of the quark mass double ratio Q.
Findings
Preliminary Q value of 22.3 +/- 0.4
Enhanced decay amplitude representation
Discussion of future methodological improvements
Abstract
We present a new dispersive analysis of the isospin breaking decay eta --> 3 pi. The resulting representation of the decay amplitude allows us to determine the quark mass double ratio Q and we find as a preliminary result Q = 22.3 +/- 0.4. Finally, we discuss a number of improvements that we intend to implement in the future.
