TL;DR
This paper reviews the causal set approach to quantum gravity, exploring potential observable signals of spacetime discreteness and presenting a simple model for the field of a moving charge within this framework.
Contribution
It provides a concise overview of the causal set program and introduces a new simple model for fields generated by moving charges in a causal set background.

Discussion on observable signals of spacetime discreteness
Introduction of a simple causal set field model for a moving charge
Insights into the causal set approach to quantum gravity
Abstract
After sketching a context in which to seek observable signals of spatio-temporal discreteness, I briefly review the status of the causal set program for quantum gravity, concluding with a simple model for the field produced by a moving charge in a background causal set.
