Lifetime difference in B_s mixing: Standard Model and beyond
Andriy Badin, Fabrizio Gabbiani, Alexey A. Petrov

TL;DR
This paper calculates higher-order corrections to the lifetime differences of B_s mesons within the Standard Model and explores potential impacts of new physics contributions on these differences.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed calculation of $1/m_b^2$ corrections and analyzes how generic $ riangle B=1$ New Physics can influence B_s lifetime differences.
Findings
$1/m_b^2$ corrections are small but significant for $ riangle au_{B_s}$
Non-perturbative corrections are included in the analysis
Examples of new physics effects on B_s lifetime differences are provided
Abstract
We present a calculation of corrections to the lifetime differences of mesons in the heavy-quark expansion. We find that they are small to significantly affect and present the result for lifetime difference including non-perturbative and corrections. We also analyze the generic = 1 New Physics contributions to the lifetime difference of mesons and provide several examples
