A. V. Pimikov, A. P. Bakulev, N. G. Stefanis

TL;DR
This paper reviews a nonlocal condensate approach in QCD sum rules, emphasizing the importance of nonlocality in condensates for accurately calculating the pion's electromagnetic form factor.
Contribution
It introduces a nonlocal condensate method within QCD sum rules to improve the understanding of the pion form factor.
Findings
Nonlocal condensates significantly impact the nonperturbative contributions.
The approach enhances the accuracy of pion form factor calculations.
Nonlocality is essential for a realistic description of the pion structure.
Abstract
We review a nonlocal-condensate approach and its application in QCD sum rules for the spacelike electromagnetic pion form factor. It is shown that the nonlocality of the condensates is a key point to include nonperturbative contributions to the pion form factor.
