Bing An Li (University of Kentucky)

TL;DR
This paper establishes a new limit for the pion form factor at very high momentum transfer using a wave function derived from an effective chiral field theory, showing it approaches the asymptotic behavior predicted by QCD.
Contribution
It introduces a novel limit for the pion form factor at large $Q^2$ based on a wave function from an effective chiral theory, extending previous understanding.
Findings
Pion form factor reaches asymptotic limit at high $Q^2$
Wave function derived from chiral field theory is effective
Form factor behavior aligns with QCD predictions
Abstract
A new limit of pion form factor at very large is obtained by using a pion wave function determined from an effective chiral field theory of mesons. It shows that when the pion form factor reaches the asymptotic limit .
