Perturbed S3 neutrinos
Renata jora, Joseph Schechter, M. Naeem Shahid

TL;DR
This paper investigates how specific symmetry-violating perturbations affect three Majorana neutrinos, considering the role of Majorana phases in maintaining degeneracy at the unperturbed level.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of permutation symmetry breaking in Majorana neutrinos with arbitrary Majorana phases, highlighting the impact on neutrino degeneracy.
Findings
Perturbations break permutation symmetry but preserve (23) symmetry.
Majorana phases influence neutrino degeneracy under perturbations.
Results clarify symmetry effects on neutrino mass degeneracy.
Abstract
We study the effects of the perturbation which violates the permutation symmetry of three Majorana neutrinos but preserves the well known (23) interchange symmetry. This is done in the presence of an arbitrary Majorana phase which serves to insure the degeneracy of the three neutrinos at the unperturbed level.
