Cold electroweak baryogenesis with Standard Model CP violation
Anders Tranberg, Andres Hernandez, Thomas Konstandin, Michael G., Schmidt

TL;DR
This paper investigates a baryogenesis mechanism during a tachyonic electroweak phase transition, using a CP violation source derived from the Standard Model by integrating out quarks.
Contribution
It introduces a novel baryogenesis scenario leveraging a Standard Model CP violation operator obtained through quark integration.
Findings
Demonstrates viability of baryon asymmetry generation during phase transition
Identifies a Standard Model-based CP violation source as sufficient
Provides theoretical framework for electroweak baryogenesis with minimal extensions
Abstract
We study a mechanism that generates the baryon asymmetry of the Universe during a tachyonic electroweak phase transition. We utilize as sole source of CP violation an operator that was recently obtained from the Standard Model by integrating out the quarks.
