TL;DR
This paper calculates the tree-level and NLO electroweak contributions to squark pair production at the LHC within the MSSM, providing more precise theoretical predictions for supersymmetric particle production.
Contribution
It provides the first comprehensive calculation of both tree-level and NLO electroweak effects on squark-squark production at the LHC in the MSSM.
Findings
Electroweak corrections can significantly affect squark production rates.
The results improve the accuracy of theoretical predictions for supersymmetry searches.
The study offers essential inputs for experimental analyses at the LHC.
Abstract
We present the tree-level and next-to-leading order (NLO) electroweak (EW) contributions to squark-squark production at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) within the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM).
