Creation/annihilation of wormholes supported by the Sine-Gordon phantom (ghost) field
Vladimir Dzhunushaliev, Vladimir Folomeev

TL;DR
This paper explores how traversable wormholes supported by a Sine-Gordon phantom field can be created or annihilated, emphasizing the importance of specific potential energy choices for these processes.
Contribution
It demonstrates that wormhole creation and annihilation are possible only with particular potentials, notably the Sine-Gordon potential, in phantom scalar field models.
Findings
Wormhole processes depend on the potential energy form.
Sine-Gordon potential uniquely supports creation/annihilation.
Not all potentials allow wormhole dynamics.
Abstract
The possible process of creation/annihilation of traversable wormholes in the model with phantom (ghost) scalar field is described. It is shown that such process can be realized only for some special choice of a potential energy, in particular, for the Sine-Gordon potential.
