The Kpi and pipi S-wave from D decays
Alberto Reis

TL;DR
This paper investigates the K o ext{K} ext{pi} and ext{pi} ext{pi} spectra in D meson decays to address longstanding issues about scalar meson states near threshold and in the 1.2-1.5 GeV region, providing insights into meson spectroscopy.
Contribution
It offers a novel analysis of scalar meson spectra in D decays, incorporating data from tau and B decays to shed light on the kappa and f_0(1370) problems.
Findings
Clarifies the nature of the kappa resonance near threshold.
Provides evidence for the f_0(1370) in D decays.
Enhances understanding of scalar meson structures.
Abstract
This paper is focused on two issues: the K\pi spectrum near threshold - the kappa problem -, and the pi\pi spectrum between 1.2 and 1.5 GeV/(c^2) -- the f_0(1370) problem. Both problems will be analysed from the perspective of the meson decays, with some additional information from and B decays.
