Sommerfeld Enhancement from Unparticle Exchange for Dark Matter Annihilation
Chuan-Hung Chen, C. S. Kim

TL;DR
This paper explores how unparticle exchange can cause Sommerfeld enhancement in dark matter annihilation, revealing a dependence on unparticle scale dimension and potential enhancement factors up to 10^3.
Contribution
It introduces a novel mechanism linking unparticle exchange to Sommerfeld enhancement, providing a quantitative analysis of the effect based on unparticle scale dimension.
Findings
Enhancement factor scales as 1/v^{3-2d_{U}}
Numerical enhancement can reach 10^3
Dependence on unparticle scale dimension is established
Abstract
We investigate the implication of unparticle exchange for the possible Sommerfeld enhancement in dark matter annihilation process. Assuming the unparticle exchange during WIMP collision, we solve the Schr\rm\ddot{o}dinger equation for the effective potential, and find that the Sommerfeld enhancement factor is dictated by the scale dimension of unparticle as 1/v^{3-2d_{\UP}}. Numerically the Sommerfeld enhancement could be {\cal O}(10-10^{3}).
