TL;DR
This paper investigates the thermodynamic properties of charged p-branes within higher-dimensional Einstein dilaton gravity, focusing on the first law of thermodynamics in both physical process and equilibrium state contexts.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of the first law of thermodynamics for charged p-branes in a generalized higher-dimensional gravity setting.
Findings
Derived the first law for charged p-branes in Einstein dilaton gravity.
Extended thermodynamic principles to higher-dimensional p-brane solutions.
Provided insights into the thermodynamic behavior of p-branes in string-inspired models.
Abstract
We study the physical process version and the equilibrium state version of the first law of thermodynamics for a charged p-brane. the general setting for our investigations is (n+p+1)-dimensional Einstein dilaton gravity with (p+2) strength form fields.
