TL;DR
This paper analytically solves the skin effect problem in Maxwell plasma with a bias current using eigenfunction expansion based on the Vlasov-Maxwell equations, considering specular electron reflection at the boundary.
Contribution
It introduces an analytical solution to the skin effect problem in Maxwell plasma incorporating a bias current, utilizing the eigenfunction expansion method.
Findings
Analytical solution to the skin effect in Maxwell plasma.
Inclusion of bias current in the model.
Use of specular electron reflection boundary condition.
Abstract
A problem of the skin effect in the Maxwell plasma is solved analytically by the method of expansion in eigenfunctions based on the Vlasov-Maxwell kinetic equation with a self-consistent electric field. Specular electron reflection from the boundary is used as a boundary condition.
