Non-stationary parabolic equations for the quasi-monochromatic sound propagation in media with a non-stationary background flow
M.Yu.Trofimov

TL;DR
This paper derives parabolic equations for modeling quasi-monochromatic sound propagation in media with non-stationary background flow and demonstrates their effectiveness through numerical simulations.
Contribution
It introduces new parabolic equations accounting for non-stationary background flow in sound wave propagation, extending previous models.
Findings
Numerical simulations validate the derived equations.
The equations effectively model sound propagation in dynamic media.
Results show good agreement with expected physical behavior.
Abstract
The narrow and wide-angle parabolic equations for the quasi-monochromatic sound wave packets propagating in a waveguide with a non-stationary background flow are obtained. The results of numerical simulations are presented.
