Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of the discovery timeline and methods used for iron isotopes, compiling historical data into a single reference.
Findings
28 iron isotopes have been observed.
First publication details for each isotope are summarized.
Production and identification methods are documented.
Abstract
Twenty-eight iron isotopes have so far been observed; the discovery of these isotopes is discussed. For each isotope a brief summary of the first refereed publication, including the production and identification method, is presented.
