John Davey, Amihay Hanany, Noppadol Mekareeya, Giuseppe Torri

TL;DR
This paper explores how the Higgs mechanism connects various M2-brane theories using brane tilings, leading to new models with detailed analysis of their moduli spaces and toric diagrams.
Contribution
It introduces new M2-brane models via Higgsing, utilizing brane tilings and Chern-Simons levels not previously considered, and analyzes their moduli spaces and toric diagrams.
Findings
Identified new M2-brane models with specific brane tilings.
Constructed toric diagrams using Kasteleyn matrices.
Examined the moduli spaces of the new models.
Abstract
Connections between different M2-brane theories are established via the Higgs mechanism, which can be most efficiently studied on brane tilings. This leads to several M2-brane models, with brane tilings or Chern-Simons levels which have not been considered so far. The moduli spaces of these models are identified and examined in detail. The toric diagrams are constructed using Kasteleyn matrices and the forward algorithm.
