NLO electroweak contributions to gluino pair production at hadron colliders
Edoardo Mirabella

TL;DR
This paper computes electroweak corrections to gluino pair production at hadron colliders within the MSSM, finding these effects negligible at the LHC and small at the Tevatron, thus simplifying theoretical predictions.
Contribution
It provides the first full calculation of NLO electroweak corrections to gluino pair production in the MSSM, assessing their significance at current colliders.
Findings
Electroweak corrections are negligible at the LHC.
Corrections have a small impact at the Tevatron.
Simplifies future theoretical predictions for gluino production.
Abstract
We calculate the full corrections to the process of gluino pair production at hadron colliders in the framework of the real MSSM. We show that these contributions can be neglected at the LHC performing a scan over a wide region of the parameter space. The impact of these corrections in the parameter range investigated at the Tevatron is small.
