Dynamics of geometric phase in the adiabatic limit of quantum phase transition
B. Basu

TL;DR
This paper investigates how the geometric phase evolves during a slow quench in a spin chain, revealing signatures of quantum phase transitions through the behavior of the ground state's geometric phase.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of the geometric phase dynamics in the adiabatic limit during quantum phase transitions in spin chains.
Findings
Geometric phase shows distinct signatures at the quantum critical point.
The behavior of the geometric phase can be used to identify phase transitions.
The study enhances understanding of geometric phase as a tool for quantum criticality detection.
Abstract
The geometric phase associated with a many body ground state exhibits a signature of quantum phase transition. In this context, we have studied the behaviour of the geometric phase during a linear quench caused by a gradual turning off of the magnetic field interacting with a spin chain.
