Note on "Dynamics of Quantum Vorticity in a Random Potential"
Chu Z. K. Hua

TL;DR
This paper comments on a previous study of quantum vorticity dynamics, emphasizing the importance of vortex core effects that were overlooked, which are crucial for understanding vortex interactions in random potentials.
Contribution
It highlights the significance of vortex core effects in quantum vorticity dynamics, challenging prior assumptions and suggesting a need to incorporate these effects in future models.
Findings
Vortex core plays a crucial role in vortex-random lattice interactions.
Neglecting vortex core can lead to incomplete understanding of vortex dynamics.
Revisiting previous models with vortex core considerations may alter conclusions.
Abstract
We make comments on Link's [{\it Phys. Rev. Lett.} 102, 131101 (2009)] paper. It seems to us that the role of vortex core was neglected by Link during his calculation. However, the vortex core is crucial to the interactions between the vortex and random lattices.
