Galaxies and Groups in the Local Supercluster
D. Makarov, I. Karachentsev

TL;DR
This paper presents a catalog of galaxy groups in the Local Supercluster, identifying 1082 groups based on a total energy criterion, with properties similar to known small galaxy groups.
Contribution
It introduces a new catalog of galaxy groups using an energy-based algorithm, providing detailed group properties in the Local Supercluster.
Findings
54% of galaxies are in groups
Average velocity dispersion is 74 km/s
Average harmonic radius is 204 kpc
Abstract
We present the catalog of galaxy groups in the Local Supercluster. Our algorithm bases on assumption that a total energy of physical pair of galaxies must be negative. About 54% of the galaxies in our sample have been gathered in 1082 groups. The groups are characterized by velocity dispersion 74 km/s and harmonic radius 204 kpc. These values are typical for small groups like Local Group or M81.
