TL;DR
This paper explores 10D super Yang-Mills theories with gauge groups E6, E7, and E8, compactified on torus/orbifolds with magnetic fluxes, resulting in 4D models with three families of quarks and leptons that are quasi-localized in extra dimensions.
Contribution
It introduces new 4D models derived from 10D super Yang-Mills theories with specific gauge groups and magnetic flux configurations, achieving realistic fermion families.
Findings
Models with three quark and lepton families are obtained.
Fermion profiles are quasi-localized due to magnetic fluxes.
Compactification leads to phenomenologically interesting 4D theories.
Abstract
We study 10D super Yang-Mills theory with the gauge groups , and . We consider the torus/orbifold compacfitication with magnetic fluxes and Wilson lines. They lead to 4D interesting models with three families of quarks and leptons, whose profiles in extra dimensions are quasi-localized because of magnetic fluxes.
