Irakli Garishvili (for the PHENIX collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports the first measurement of the nuclear modification factor for open heavy flavor production at forward rapidity in Cu+Cu collisions, providing new insights into heavy ion collision dynamics.
Contribution
It introduces the first measurement of the nuclear modification factor for open heavy flavor at forward angles in heavy ion collisions.
Findings
Nuclear modification factor for single muons in Cu+Cu collisions measured.
Results indicate modifications in heavy flavor production at forward rapidity.
Provides new data for understanding quark-gluon plasma effects.
Abstract
The fisrt measurement of the nuclear modification factor for single muons produced in CuCu collisions is presented which is the first measurement of the nuclear modification factor for open heavy flavor production made at forward angles in heavy ion collisions
