Craig A. Tracy, Harold Widom

TL;DR
This paper derives an exact formula for the distribution of a second class particle's position in the ASEP, providing insights into particle dynamics in asymmetric exclusion processes.
Contribution
It presents a novel exact expression for the distribution of a second class particle in ASEP, advancing understanding of particle interactions.
Findings
Exact distribution formula for the second class particle's position.
Enhanced understanding of particle dynamics in ASEP.
Potential applications in modeling transport phenomena.
Abstract
We give an exact expression for the distribution of the position X(t) of a single second class particle in the asymmetric simple exclusion process (ASEP) where initially the second class particle is located at the origin and the first class particles occupy the sites {1,2,...}.
