Jerome P. Gauntlett, Julian Sonner, Toby Wiseman

TL;DR
This paper constructs new holographic superconductor models in three dimensions using M-theory, revealing a zero-temperature quantum critical point through numerical analysis.
Contribution
It introduces a novel class of solutions in D=11 supergravity dual to 3D superconductors, highlighting a quantum critical point at zero temperature.
Findings
Identification of a new zero temperature solution
Evidence of a quantum critical point
Holographic duality in M-theory context
Abstract
Using seven-dimensional Sasaki-Einstein spaces we construct solutions of D=11 supergravity that are holographically dual to superconductors in three spacetime dimensions. Our numerical results indicate a new zero temperature solution dual to a quantum critical point.
