f(2010) in Lattice QCD
Mushtaq Loan, Zhi-Huan Luo, Yu Yiu Lam

TL;DR
This study uses lattice QCD to investigate the nature of the $f(2010)$ meson, finding it to be consistent with a two-particle scattering state rather than a localized tetraquark in the explored quark mass range.
Contribution
The paper provides the first lattice QCD analysis of the $ss{ar s}{ar s}$ tetraquark candidate $f(2010)$, showing it is likely a scattering state rather than a bound tetraquark.
Findings
Mass of ground state: 2123(33)(58) MeV, higher than $f(2010)$.
No evidence of a localized $J^{P}=2^{+}$ tetraquark state.
State exhibits volume dependence consistent with scattering states.
Abstract
We present a search for the possible tetraquark state with quark content in quenched improved anisotropic lattice QCD. Using various local and non-local interpolating fields we determine the energies of ground-state and second ground state using variational method. The state is found to be consistent with two-particle scattering state, which is checked to exhibit the expected volume dependence of the spectral weights. In the physical limit, we obtain for the ground state, a mass of MeV which is higher than the mass of experimentally observed . The lattice resonance signal obtained in the physical region does not support a localized tetraquark state in the pion mass region of MeV. We conclude that the system in question appears as a two-particle scattering state in the quark mass region…
