On the statistics of quantum transfer of non-interacting fermions in multi-terminal junctions
D.Kambly, D.A.Ivanov

TL;DR
This paper investigates the statistical properties of quantum transfer of non-interacting fermions in multi-terminal junctions, revealing constraints on full counting statistics and highlighting differences from two-terminal systems.
Contribution
It extends the understanding of fermionic transfer statistics from two-terminal to multi-terminal systems, showing the absence of factorization in the latter.
Findings
Constraints on full counting statistics in multi-terminal junctions
No factorization property in multi-terminal fermionic transfer
Differences from two-terminal system behavior
Abstract
Similarly to the recently obtained result for two-terminal systems, we show that there are constraints on the full counting statistics for non-interacting fermions in multi-terminal contacts. In contrast to the two-terminal result, however, there is no factorization property in the multi-terminal case.
