TL;DR
This study reports the growth of high-quality LaFeAsO$_{1-x}$F$_{x}$ thin films with high upper critical fields and weak link behavior, providing insights into their superconducting properties under high magnetic fields.
Contribution
It demonstrates the successful fabrication of superconducting LaFeAsO$_{1-x}$F$_{x}$ thin films with high critical fields and investigates their magnetic field response and weak link behavior.
Findings
Upper critical field around 77 T at zero temperature
Weak link behavior observed at low magnetic fields
Broad reversible regime in transport measurements
Abstract
High-quality superconducting LaFeAsOF thin films were grown on single crystalline LaAlO substrates with critical temperatures (onset) up to 28 K. Resistive measurements in high magnetic fields up to 40 T reveal a paramagnetically limited upper critical field, (0) around 77 T and a remarkable steep slope of -7.5 T/K near . From transport measurements we observed a weak link behavior in low magnetic fields and the evidence for a broad reversible regime.
