TL;DR
This paper investigates the Weyl anomaly in a four-dimensional Lifshitz scalar coupled to anisotropic gravity, revealing a one-loop scale-invariance breakdown at second order in the gravitational background.
Contribution
It provides the first analysis of Weyl anomalies in Lifshitz scalars coupled to Horava gravity, highlighting quantum scale symmetry breaking.

Identification of Weyl anomaly in Lifshitz scalar with anisotropic gravity
Insights into quantum effects in non-relativistic gravity theories
Abstract
We examine the Weyl anomaly for a four-dimensional z=3 Lifshitz scalar coupled to Horava's theory of anisotropic gravity. We find a one-loop break-down of scale-invariance at second order in the gravitational background.
