Unified Model for P-N Junction Current-Voltage Characteristics
Miron J. Cristea

TL;DR
This paper presents a unified model that comprehensively describes p-n junction current-voltage characteristics across all injection levels and the ohmic region, filling a gap in existing separate analyses.
Contribution
It introduces a unified theoretical framework that integrates low, medium, high injection levels, and the ohmic region for p-n junction I/V characteristics.
Findings
Unified model accurately describes all injection regimes.
Bridges the gap between low and high injection analyses.
Provides a comprehensive understanding of p-n junction behavior.
Abstract
The current-voltage p-n junction characteristics were mainly analyzed until now at low injection levels and high level injection separately. This work unifies the low injection, medium injection, high injection levels and the ohmic region of the I/V characteristics. Keywords: p-n junctions, current-voltage characteristics, low injection and high injection levels, ohmic region.
