Comments on "Modelling the gap size distribution of parked cars"
Mauricio Girardi

TL;DR
This paper critiques a previous model of parked car gap sizes and proposes an improved approach that better fits empirical data, advancing understanding of parking space distribution.
Contribution
It introduces a new modeling approach for parked car gaps that enhances the accuracy of empirical data representation.
Findings
New model better fits empirical data
Improved understanding of parking space distribution
Critique of previous modeling approach
Abstract
In this Comment we discuss some points concerning the modeling of parked cars proposed in the article by Rawal and Rodgers, Physica A (2005). We also introduce another approach to this problem which leads to a better description of the empirical data collected by the authors.
