Time, vacuum energy, and the cosmological constant
Viqar Husain

TL;DR
This paper explores the connection between the cosmological constant problem and the problem of time in quantum gravity, focusing on how vacuum energy relates to the cosmological constant within non-perturbative quantum gravity frameworks.
Contribution
It introduces a novel perspective linking the cosmological constant problem with the problem of time in quantum gravity using non-perturbative approaches.
Findings
Identifies a conceptual link between vacuum energy and the cosmological constant.
Highlights the role of non-perturbative quantum gravity in understanding this relationship.
Suggests new directions for resolving the cosmological constant problem.
Abstract
We describe a link between the cosmological constant problem and the problem of time in quantum gravity. This arises by examining the relationship between the cosmological constant and vacuum energy in light of non-perturbative formulations of quantum gravity.
