Extraction of the Pomeron Trajectory from a Global Fit to Exclusive $\rho^0$ Meson Photoproduction Data
Benno List (for the H1 Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper analyzes elastic rho0 meson photoproduction data from multiple experiments to extract the pomeron trajectory parameters, providing insights into the nature of the pomeron in high-energy physics.
Contribution
It presents a comprehensive fit to experimental data to determine the pomeron trajectory's intercept and slope, comparing results with established models.
Findings
Extracted pomeron intercept: 1.0871 ± 0.0026 (stat.) ± 0.0030 (syst.)
Pomeron slope: 0.126 ± 0.013 (stat.) ± 0.012 (syst.) GeV^{-2}
Data compatible with Donnachie-Landshoff trajectory at low |t|
Abstract
Based on data on elastic photoproduction from the H1, Omega and ZEUS collaborations, a fit has been performed to extract the value of the pomeron trajectory at fixed values of t from the W dependence of the differential cross section . The data used in the fit cover the range of in centre-of-mass energy and in momentum transfer. A linear fit to the resulting values of yields for the intercept and for the slope of the pomeron trajectory. The data are also compatible with the Donnachie-Landshoff trajectory at low values and with a constant value of…
