Analysis of the Isgur-Wise function of the $\Lambda_b \to \Lambda_c$ transition with light-cone QCD sum rules
Zhi-Gang Wang

TL;DR
This paper employs light-cone QCD sum rules to connect the $Lambda_b$ baryon distribution amplitudes with the Isgur-Wise function for the $Lambda_b o Lambda_c$ transition, providing a simple relation and numerical consistency with previous QCD sum rule predictions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel relation between baryon distribution amplitudes and the Isgur-Wise function using light-cone QCD sum rules, enhancing understanding of heavy baryon transitions.
Findings
The Isgur-Wise function $\xi(\omega)$ is numerically consistent with previous QCD sum rule predictions.
A simple relation between $Lambda_b$ distribution amplitudes and the Isgur-Wise function is established.
The approach provides a new method to analyze heavy baryon transitions.
Abstract
In this article, we use the light-cone QCD sum rules to relate the baryon light-cone distribution amplitudes to the Isgur-Wise function of the transition, and obtain a simple relation. The numerical value of the Isgur-Wise function is consistent with the prediction of the QCD sum rules.
