R. N. Bisset, P. B. Blakie

TL;DR
This paper uses c-field simulations to analyze the properties of a trapped quasi-two-dimensional Bose gas, focusing on density curvature and condensate fluctuations to better understand superfluid transition behavior.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed simulation approach to study density and condensate fluctuations in a quasi-2D Bose gas near the superfluid transition.
Findings
Calculated the central curvature of the system density.
Analyzed fluctuations of the condensate mode.
Provided insights into the superfluid transition region.
Abstract
The c-field simulation technique is used to study a trapped quasi-two dimensional Bose gas. We calculate the central curvature of the system density and fluctuations of the condensate mode in the degenerate regime. These results provide new understanding of the system behavior in the region of the superfluid transition.
