Higher-order QCD corrections for vector boson production at hadron colliders
Giancarlo Ferrera (Florence University & INFN, Florence)

TL;DR
This paper discusses advanced QCD corrections for vector boson production at hadron colliders, including transverse-momentum resummation and a new NNLO calculation, enhancing precision in theoretical predictions.
Contribution
It introduces a fully exclusive NNLO calculation for vector boson production and updates on transverse-momentum resummation techniques.
Findings
Numerical results demonstrate improved accuracy of NNLO calculations.
Resummation techniques effectively handle low transverse-momentum regions.
Enhanced theoretical predictions aid experimental analyses.
Abstract
We consider higher-order QCD corrections for vector boson production at hadron colliders. We present recent results on transverse-momentum resummation for Z production. Moreover we show numerical results from a new fully exclusive next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) calculation.
