Control of the entanglement of a two-level atom in a dissipative cavity via a classical field
Jian-Song Zhang, Jing-Bo Xu

TL;DR
This paper studies how a classical field can be used to control and enhance the entanglement and purity of a two-level atom interacting with a dissipative cavity environment.
Contribution
It introduces a method to improve entanglement and purity in a dissipative atom-cavity system by applying a classical driving field.
Findings
Classical field control increases entanglement.
Classical field control improves system purity.
Entanglement can be maintained longer with classical driving.
Abstract
We investigate the entanglement dynamics and purity of a two-level atom, which is additionally driven by a classical field, interacting with a coherent field in a dissipative environment. It is shown that the amount of entanglement and the purity of the system can be improved by controlling the classical field.
